That was an excellent way to spend the past five days! Congratulations to the winners and congratulations to the people of Prince George who came out and supported the teams.

(And a huge thumbs down to the drunk in the row behind us last Wednesday. If you're going to be an ass, please do so at home. Thank you.)
It will be interesting to see how the CCA liked the turnout in the seats...the few games that I attended where very low in attendence. I'm hoping that the bill to use tax payers will not be to high due to this....
IMO this will be the last large curling event in PG for many years to come. The lack of fans was pathetic and showed what a non sports city PG is on TSN.

Give TSN credit for 'not going there'
Yes, it's too bad that the turnout wasn't better. There just isn't as many curling fans in PG. Also the economy may have played a part - there are alot of people out of work and cannot affort to go.
I didn't take time off work to go to any games so I just bought two game tickets. For me and spouse that added up to $103. If you are unemployed that $103 is groceries for a week.
It was a great event, I would love to see more of these types of events, but I agree I don't think there will be another for a very, very long time.

Perhaps a local station could have aired the early games on TV, this could have generated a little more enthusiasm, but oh well its done now
The lack of fans was embarassing! We want to hold the winter games and make 90 million dollar? If the support is anything like it was this weekend all I can say is GOOD LUCK!
