The City's municipal flag fluttered on a rooftop in Upper Kingsburg, Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia this past summer...
It was the home of the Honourable John Godfrey, Minister of State for Infrastructure and Communities.
Godfrey lays claim to having the World's Largest (and only!) Collection of Canadian Municipal Flags. In a letter thanking Mayor Colin Kinsley for the addition to his collection, Godfrey says he flew the flag, along with those from Gatineau and V.M.Q., back on August 17th.
He says he did receive some strange looks from his neighbours.
