Prince George, BC – The Prince George Cougars have made a roster move that leaves the Cougars with the league maximum three 20-year olds.

The Cougars placed forward Tyler Halliday on waivers Tuesday.  The Cougars remaining overage players are defencemen Dallas Jackson and Garrett Thiessen and forward Alex Rodgers.

Halliday leaves the Cougars with three goals and seven points in 19 games this season, along with 47 penalty minutes.  In 85 career games for the Cougars, Halliday posted 18 goals and 14 assists and had 208 penalty minutes.

The Cougars would like to thank Tyler for his service to the Cougars both on and off the ice and wish him the best in his future.

Every time I read a headline about a cougars roster change I get excited hoping that as I read along it might say that Dallas Thompson has been let go. Once again no such luck. Perhaps one day this will happen and I can again become a cougars fan and supporter.
Uh, Dallas Thompson isn't on the roster. He's a GM.
