First Boeing 747 cargo plane to refuel in Prince George takes to the sky to continue its journey

Prince George, B.C.- Thanks to the many Opinion250 readers who sent along their photos of the Southern Air Boeing 747's arrival and departure from Prince George Airport this morning.

We leave you with these shots of the jet on the runway for takeoff....... and its gentle lift off from the new runway, Venezuela bound.

Beautiful site. Opens the door for more to come. Now that the airport has the experience with the first plane, others will notice and come flocking to the runway.

I don't know if they will be 'flocking' to our runway but it certainly is a start.

Flocking is bad. Flocks could get sucked up in the engine and plane may end up having to ditch in the Fraser.

...they will come because it saves them money...even all the negative posters do know what money is right..??...where there is one..there is more ....so yes they will come...more and more...just watch....and lets hope for more good thing for our city...:)
