H1N1 Vaccination Clinics Reduced to 2 Days a Week

Prince George, B.C.- The H1N1 vaccination clinics are now down to just two days a week and will be held at the Northern Health Unit on Edmonton Street from 1-4 p.m. on Tuesdays and Friday’s through January. February’s schedule has yet to be determined.
The second wave of this flu is all but over, with no new serious cases of H1N1 reported in Northern Health for the week ending December 30th. Since April, there have been have been 44 cases in Northern Health which required hospitalization and two deaths.
As for vaccinations, as of the end of the last Public Health clinic in Prince George, 13,131 doses of vaccine had been administered. That does not include any vaccine which may have been distributed at a Doctor’s office.
