Prince George, B.C.- Six people were arrested following the  execution of search warrants on  three Beaverly area residences yesterday.

RCMP, armed with search warrants, entered the three rural  homes yesterday morning and seized more than 3000 masrijuana plants in various stages of growth.

Police say the grow ops were very sophisticated in their structure.  They were dismantled with the assistance of the  B.C. Hydro as police say electrical power was being stolen in order to run the three operations.

The six people arrested ( four males and two females) are not from Prince George.  They are expected to appear in court at a later date.

Can we say Dumb!
The #1 industry in Beaverly!
Pretty big operation. Hope the homes are seized too.
I keep thinking they have a law against this? Will the growers be able to buy back their seized property any time soon at an auction?
Clearly another "personal use" grow-op. Why don't the cops start leaving these poor folks alone and go after the "real" criminals? LMAO. Good job on the bust. Hope they seize absolutely everything they own and that the proceeds from the sale can go to something worthwhile.
They don’t own anything but the grow equipment. Rent the house, steel the power, pay the fine and move to Haiti …..I mean Cayman Islands.
Banks won`t touch homes that are tagged grow ops until there is documented remediation .............and still disclosure must be supplied. These homes are stigmatized for a long time..
Leaglize it, control it, get taxes from it. Pot is BC's Alberta oil.
To do that you need to have a legal market for it and until pot it self is legalized in the consuming countries it is no use talking of making it legal here.
Steal power equals making the paper every time. The meter means nothing... its not hard to locate the house where the leakage is taking place... so simple they might as well put their own handcuffs on when they attempt to do something like that for a grow op.
