Whistler, B.C. -  The crowd in Whistler went crazy, as Canada's Alexandre Bilodeau clinched the gold medal in Men's Moguls...

With his superior performance, the 22-year-old made Canadian Olympic history -- becoming the first Canadian ever to win a gold on home soil.

Bilodeau was in 2nd place after qualifying.  French skier, Guilbaut Colas, sat atop the leader board and completed his final run faster, but with a few technical errors, forcing him to settle for silver.

Dale Begg-Smith, born in Canada, but skiing for Australia, took the bronze.

It's Canada's first top finish at the 2010 Games and brings our medal count to three.  History has been written on the moguls course in Whistler tonight!
