Sudden Death Investigation In Chilcotin

Prince George, B.C. -  RCMP are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 39-year-old man, who's body was discovered lying outside in the First Nations community of Redstone, west of Williams Lake, yesterday morning.

Police have identified the victim as Morris Lawrence Lulua. 

Sergeant Gary Heebner with the North District Major Crime Unit says officers from the Prince George unit were called in to assist officers from the Alexis Creek Detachment.

Heebner says the BC Coroner's Service is also involved in the investigation and an autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow.

Police are asking anyone who had contact with the deceased this weekend, or anyone with information regarding his sudden death to contact the Alexis Creek Detachment at 250-394-4211.
