take his license away for 3 years when he wakes up and send him a bill for the rescue and hospital charges
Don't you think they should find out the cause first?
We dont know what happened yet do we Don!
Do we have a holier than thou Mr. Perfect in our midst?
"The investigation is ongoing, but police suspect alcohol may have played a part in the accident"

I suspect this is the line that gets used when they smell alcohol on the victim, notice signs of the vicitm being under the influence, see empty alcohol containers in the vehicle, etc.
Do we worship Don now?
Well if he was driving drunk, I'm just glad the only person he hurt was himself.

Either way, I'm sure his family is very upset, hope he pulls through.
should we have mercy on him because he is in his 60's ? i dont think so or did you forget about the woman in her 60's who ran someone over and killed them a few weeks back.you know how new drivers have N signs i say we start the S signs for seniors..i am don frye and this is my opinion :)
Mr Frye,

Nothing personal, but your an idiot.

Who mentioned his age as any kind of excuse? Who said he was drunk?

Alcohol is suspected but at this point unproven.

I guess in your world your proven guilty till proven innocent. Do you wear a white sheet with a pointy hat as well?
I say we use PG for drivers from Prince George.

For all we know, this fellow was driving a Toyota.

"alcohol may have played a part"

so may road conditions ...

a sneezing fit .....

fatigue, one of the most common factors often overlooked .....

swerve to avoid a vehicle crossing the line coming the other way .....

come on, we can all think of the things that go on while driving that can distractt other than cell phones .....

Did you notice the fellow was ejected from the truck but it did not say that he was or was not wearing a seatbelt.
Don Frye, "Stompin Tom" has it right, you are an idiot. You need to find another site to show your unmindful purpose on this globe.

This fellow has just been involved in what sounds like a horrific accident. He is having his day in hospital, I'm sure his day in court will follow. Until then, he is innocent in my eyes.

And what's with you bringing up the 60+ year old woman that has been charged with numerous offences to do with a hit and run Don Frye? Not convicted , only charged. What can't you understand about that concept Don Frye?

Stay in your own lane. Obey the speed limit. Works for me.
You would be pretty hard pressed to find anyone on that stretch of road that drives the speed limit. They all go like a bat out of hell.

Speed limit is 80 and they all pass you.
I think he should phone up old Gordo and ask if he can use his lawyer and limo!!!!
lol yup gordo's lawyer would be on the next flight to PG to get him off with a 1000 dollar fine and community hours
No seat belt fastened? I wear mine firstly due to self preservation, secondly because it's the law.
Harbs got it right. Seat belts do save lives and who wants to pay a fine for not wearing one?
metalman.
