New CEO For Healthcare Foundation Named

Prince George, B.C. - The Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation has a new CEO.

Don  Gowan will fill the spot  which has been vacant  since the departure of David Wharrie  last December.

A resident of  Prince George, Gowan has been  in Northern B.C. for  more than 17 years and is familiar with the communities  served by Northern Health.

Chair of the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation, Carol Beebe  says  Gowan  has been  a supporter of the Foundation for several years "He shares our vision of positioning Spirit of the North as the quintessential healthcare fundraising organization in northern B.C."
