Let's see now:
First Obama was opposed to expanding drilling in that area.
Then, all of a sudden he announced expanding on that resource in that area.
Now 2 weeks later a major catastrophe sinks an off-shore drill rig in less than a day.

Funny thing, the safety requirements of those rigs is extreme. There are redundant safety systems all over the place. It is almost, ALMOST, impossible to deliberately sink one of those things. This is also the first production rig to sink while in production.

Kind of makes one go ,"hmmm".
