Undercover operators were utilized to make evidentiary purchases of drugs and infiltrate the organizations controlling the drug trade in the area. The project ran from October of 2009 until May of 2010. A total of 15 cocaine trafficking charges have been laid against 11 accused.

During the operation police officers purchased amounts of cocaine ranging from two grams up to a pound. In addition to evidentiary purchases made, approximately $42,000.00 cash was seized along with a 2006 Lincoln Navigator.

Dawson Creek charges (all charges are for Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, contrary to Section 5(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act):

• Terry Lee SCHAFFER (50 years old) - 1 count
• Anthony David LOEPPKY (22 years old) - 1 count
• Ralph Craven SAVARD (32 years old) - 2 counts
• Shauna Liza FREEMAN (29 years old) - 1 count

Fort St. John charges (all charges are for Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, contrary to Section 5 (1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act):

• Warren Monty ANDERSON (33 years old) - 1 count
• Dallas James PEEVER (32 years old) - 1 count
• Timothy Shawn SOUND (25 years old) - 2 counts
• Jessica Anne DESJARLAIS (27 years old) - 1 count
• Donald Jean KOCUREK (40 years old) - 1 count
• Alex Paul WHITFORD (38 years old) - 1 count

Many of the accused have been arrested and released pending their next court appearance. Arrest warrants have been issued for those that have not yet been located and arrested.
