Prince George, BC- A former Duchesss Park High School teacher and basketball coach  is facing sex charges stemming from the 1980’s.

 

Prince George RCMP say they began their investigation in October of last year after a  woman came forward and said she had been the victim of sexual abuse from 1981 to 1985  when the accused moved out of the Prince George region.

 

At the time of the offence, the victim was 13 and the accused was 31. 

 

Charged with Gross Indecency and Sexual Intercourse with a person under the age of 16yrs old is 60 year old Roderick Lyle Sauve of Victoria. He is to appear in court on August 11^th.
