Person of Interest Named in Missing McCann Case

Edmonton, Alberta- RCMP in Alberta are looking for a 38 year old man as “person of interest” in the the disappearance of the McCann’s.

Assistant RCMP Commissioner Hourihan says 38 year old Travis Edward Vader ( in photo at right) is a person of interest in the case, is considered dangerous and should not be approached. RCMP in Edmonton say they believe Vader is connected, but at this point, he is only a person of interest. He is being saught on non-related outstanding warrants.

Alberta RCMP also say they have found the missing couple's Hyundai Tucson which has been the subject of numerous tips . Although mounties aren't saying where they located the vehicle, it is beleived to have been found in Alberta.

The McCann’s were on their way to Chilliwack in their motorhome, towing a Hyndai Tucson. Their motor home was found burned near Edson, and there has been no sign of the elderly Alberta couple.
