Prince George, B.C. -- Prince George RCMP have called in the North District Traffic Reconstructionist in a bid to further their investigation into a motor vehicle crash on Sunday...
A 1990 Ford Probe slammed into a double-wide trailer in the 3000-block of Frontage Road, along the Hart Highway, around 11:30am that morning.
Police have updated the conditions of the two occupants of the vehicle -- a 25-year-old Prince George woman who was a passenger in the vehicle was critically hurt and flown to Vancouver, where she is now in stable condition. The driver, a 56-year-old Prince George man, was seriously hurt and is still in the University Hospital of Northern B.C..
Police say neither occupant was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision.
RCMP say the crash caused approximately $75-thousand dollars damage. At this point, police say speed and alcohol do not appear to have been factors. They're hoping the traffic reconstructionist will offer up new insight into what caused the car to leave the northbound lane of the Hart Highway and slam into the home.
