There will be 16 communities visited throughout the North to talk to people about their thoughts on Cancer Treatment and services in the North.

The meetings will start March 2nd in Prince George, and will end in Vanderhoof on April 25th. Northern Health Chair Jeff Burghardt says the meetings will include focus groups of people who have undergone cancer treatment, and a broader session to hear from the community as a whole.

The consultants hired to coordinate the consultation process are putting together the background information for the sessions.

UNBC President Charles Jago is hopeful the final report will be submitted before he leaves his post at the end of June.
