The guy really needs to go... all the scandals of the last few years have been badly handled from the top down and have blackened the name of the RCMP because this man had no courage to do what was right and reform where reforms were needed bringing public accountability to a force when private members broke the law. It should come as no surprise that the RCMP themselves are embarrassed about the leadership they have received under Elliott.

William Elliott was a token appointment by Steven Harper at a time when canadians were screaming for civilian oversight in regards to the RCMP.
He was put in place basically to shut people up.
He has accomplished nothing,other than to make a bad situation worse.
If anything,the RCMP is a bigger mess now under Elliott's leadership than it was before!
He should be gone,without question,but Steven Harper should also be taken to task for his own role in this mess!

I suspect the RCMP had something to do with making him appear the loser.
