Its Prince George. The air advisory is never over.
How come a forest fire is now called a complex? Some new manager marking his territory you now how.
It rained thank gawd
Here is the way it is described on the MoF web site updated Sautruday morning

Size: 9,500.0 hectares

Status: Active

The Pelican Complex consists of TWO MAIN fires as well as A FEW INHERITED SMALLER FIRES.

One of the main fires is 10 per cent contained and 2,450 hectares in size.

The other main fire is 20 per cent contained and 11,843 hectares in size.

More accurate mapping was accomplished due to improved visibility.
===============================
A "complex" is simply more than one fire with individual origins located closely together.
Gus, where did you find the readings for air quality you gave us on the "New Testing Finds Low Levels of Formaldehyde"blog on Aug 06?

I checked all the sites you gave us but could not find any readings. A lot of stuff on air quality and your health but that was it.
cheers
Retired .... I am not sure if you are looking for the past formaldehyde readings that were taken in 2008 and presented to the PGAir group in April 2009, or are you looking for the current particulate readings?
I was looking for the current particulate readings. MoE had a site where they gave particulate readings and c02 readings at Plaza 400 and BCR Indusrial site and they shut it down. I thought maybe they had started to show these readings again. Thanks a bunch.

Cheers
