After a 20 min search they found the man still in the Scotia Bank trying to get out of the bank. He was pulling on the door but the door said "push"
They had a good ID on the walker. He didn't have a chance.
Must have been bored today so decided to have fun at the bank playing cops and robbers.
the hard hit effects of the HST ... now seniors have to resort to crime to get by .... pretty soon we are gonna have Geriactric Blow rings controlled by the scooter gangs and old Aunt Mabels grow op busted .....
Gotta pay the carbon tax, HST and all the other hidden taxes somehow. He apparently couldn't even afford teeth. Oh well, just cut the bingo grants for he services that he requires. This government is all abut screwing the less fortunate and rewarding big business.
you can rob a bank with a walker?? and all this time i thought you needed a gun, no wonder i'd make such a poor criminal..haha
Apparently, he had just taken a Viagra and the teller thought he said "this is a stick up"...but what he really said was "it is sticking up".

Sorry I couldn't resist. Forgive me.
A bank got robbed? That's a switch. I thought the cops were cracking down on crime gangs? I ain't gonna dis an elder after reading this.

Funniest thing I heard all day! I wish more people had your humour.

The old guy probably got asked to do internet banking one to many times, forgot the paasword and snaped.
He was probably figuring it would be better living in a jail than the seniors home he lived in. At least he would be with a younger crowd and would not have to play Canasta every night.
Thanks whitewater. I had second thoughts after posting it, but by then what can you do? Glad you appreciated the spirit in which it was intended.
He's being robbed by our governments, it's his turn to rob someone I guess.
Gray power! Yes, he will probably do better in gaol than on the streets with three squares a day and a roof over his head.
Will our gaols become the new alternative for impecunious seniors?
