Prince George, B.C. - Regularly scheduled flights into and out of the Prince George Airport are not being affected by wildfire smoke.
Director of Operations, Cuyler Green, says the smoke is not any thicker than a foggy day and, as such, has not caused any disruptions to scheduled flights.
Green says the visibility limit imposed on YXS is half-a-mile and right now visibility sits at 1.5-miles.
However, he does say that pilots with differing levels of experience have to take that visibility limit into account and there is no flight training going on at the airport today.
