Prince George, BC – The Prince George Cougars will open training camp on Saturday, August 28 at CN Centre.  Highlighting the camp will be the Cougars Young Guns game on Tuesday, August 31^st, starting at 10:00am, followed by the annual Black vs. White game at 7:00pm at CN Centre.

As of Monday afternoon, the Cougars have 84 players confirmed to be attending camp. 

 

Of those 84, 45 are in the 1994 and ’95 birth years, while the remaining 39 were born in 1993 or earlier.  The Cougars have 19 players attending camp that were on the Cougars roster at the conclusion of the 2009-10 regular season.

Fans are invited to attend Cougars training camp.  Admission to the Black vs. White Game is $2 for fans 12 years of age and older.  The Cougars first pre-season game is on Saturday, September 4 in St. Albert, Alberta, when they square off with the Medicine Hat Tigers.  The Cougars will host the Edmonton Oil Kings for back-to-back pre-season games on Friday, September 10 and Saturday, September 11 at CN Centre.  The Kamloops Blazers will visit Prince George for the Cougars final pre-season game on Saturday, September 18.  All exhibition games start at 7:00pm.
