I know how they feel I just went and bought my son his first car, we were going to be putting insurance on it this coming weekend but now I am going to have to buy 4 new tires instead as someone over night stole the new ones I just bought and had installed on it!!

nothing is safe anymore!!
Some poor persons' insurance rates are going up. Lousy rotten thieves.
Most of us work hard to get to a point where we can enjoy ownership of something, but the spectre of losing it to a low down lazy crook can dampen anyone's enthusiasm.
Anastasia: spend some (more) money, buy security lock nuts for your son's wheels. They will at least slow down and possibly deter a scummy thief.
I have learned the hard way that even if you have insurance, some things are not covered (when you assumed they were) and even if they are replaced by the insurer, you may well pay again, through increased rates when you renew. The best defense is a good offense; do what you can to protect and preserve your belongings.
Eternal vigilence is the price we pay.
Criminals have no such concerns.

Hope harper gets these super max prisons built soon hope like they are in OZ. Lock these scums in a box and leave em there. For 60 years.
So maybe night shift security should be suspect? It happens all the time; be conveniently away during that crucial hour that it takes to steal and load 12 large tires and wheels. I don't think one pickup could handle it though.
