It was a game of cat-and-mouse atop Cranbrook Hill this morning, as officers chased two break-and-enter suspects along the snowy trails.

An intrusion alarm at a compound at 18th avenue and Ospika Boulevard just after 6:30 this morning prompted the pursuit.  Officers arriving on-scene found the chain-link fence had been cut and an all-terrain vehicle stolen.

After receiving reports of a sighting on Cranbrook Hill, officers found a stolen pick-up truck, waiting for the ATV.

It took a foot chase through the snow-laden bush, but the Mounties got their men.  The Prince George pair, aged 28 and 42, are in custody facing charges of break-and-enter, and possession of stolen property over $5000.00
