Acolatse CHL Player of the Week

Prince George, BC - The Canadian Hockey League has named Prince George Cougars defenceman Sena Acolatse is the CHL Player of the Week for the week ending October 17. Acolatse had 11 points in three games scoring three goals and eight assists with a plus-minus rating of plus-8.
Acolatse’s week was highlighted with a five-point game on Saturday against the Kamloops Blazers where he scored two goals including the game-winner while adding three assists as second star of the 8-1 win. One night earlier he received first star honours with three assists in a 5-2 win over the Prince Albert Raiders on Friday night. His week began on Thanksgiving Monday with a goal and two assists despite an 8-7 overtime loss to the Edmonton Oil Kings.
Acolatse, a 19-year-old from Edmonton, Alberta, is playing in his fifth WHL season and was acquired by the Cougars from the Saskatoon Blades earlier this season. His 11 points have him ranked third in the WHL amongst defenceman.
