With this anniversary Williams Lake RCMP are again appealing to the public for assistance in locating Tyler.

Tyler was last seen on November 09, 2009 at approximately 7:00 pm in Williams Lake and then, by all accounts simply vanished. Tyler is an outgoing person who's disappearance is very uncharacteristic. Tyler is a 26 year old Caucasian male in good physical shape; 5'11" tall and weighs 150 lbs. Tyler wears his hair at medium length and normally has a full beard.

Police have conducted extensive interviews with family, friends and other associates along with checks into financial, medical, phone and travel records. All avenues of investigation - including those which were even remotely possible have been examined. Tyler's family and friends have been very active in the search for any information that may help in bringing Tyler home.

“It is our belief that there may be people in the community who have some small piece of information that they have not come forward with because they are not sure of its significance. I would like to remind people that it is often these tips, that seem very insignificant at the time, that solve these cases”

“I would ask that anyone, who has any information, to contact the investigators and pass on that information and let us determine if it can forward our investigation”.

“Although it has been a year, the Williams Lake RCMP continue to investigate Tyler's disappearance, and we will continue to actively investigate until the case is solved”.

Anyone with any information with respect to the disappearance of Tyler Walton is asked to contact the Williams Lake RCMP General Investigations Section at 250-392-6211, or their CrimeStoppers.
