Fraser Lake- Two men are in custody after an ATV and a truck were stolen from Prince Rupert and then recovered later in the day at Fraser Lake.

 

On Wednesday, November 17, 2010 just before 7:00 a.m., Prince Rupert RCMP responded to an attempted theft of a Dodge truck from the Coast hotel. The truck window was smashed to gain entry and the steering column was damaged. Nothing was taken from the vehicle.

 

About an hour later RCMP responded to a theft of Dodge pickup from 7th Avenue East. The passenger side window was smashed to gain entry into the vehicle.

 

At around 1:00 pm, RCMP received a report of a theft of an ATV from the carport of a residence on Sloan Avenue that occurred earlier in the day. Items from the vehicle stolen from 7th Avenue East were located at the scene of the theft on Sloan Avenue.

 

The pair were apprehended the same day.
