Civic Plaza Light Up Event Tonight

Prince George, B.C. – Tonight’s the night for the major light up event at the Civic Centre Plaza.
This annual event draws about a thousand people every year for the 6 – 8 pm event..
With the Festival of Trees Just steps away, the Library and the Art Gallery offering indoor events, you don’t have to be outside for the whole evening.
It gets underway at 6 tonight with skating on the outdoor rink hayrides live music and mascots and hot cocoa.
At the Library, there are two light up story times, one at 6:15 to 6:45, the other at 7:15 to 7:45.
At the Two Rivers Art Gallery little ones can create a mini holiday lantern.
Of course the highlight of the evening is the countdown to the arrival of Santa which is slated for 7:00.
