Suspicious Death in Quesnel

Quesnel, B.C.- An autopsy  has been  scheduled for tomorrow  on the body of 57 year old Nancy Moerike of Quesnel.

Her body was found in her Quesnel residence  late Tuesday afternoon by neighbours.  RCMP  say there are aspects of this death that they deem "suspicious" and  her death is now being investigated by the RCMP's Major Crimes Unit, BC Coroner's Service, Quesnel RCMP  General Investigation Section  and the RCMP Forensic Ident Section.

Police say at this stage, the cause of death  is unknown and  investigators are waiting for the autopsy results to  determine if  her death was  caused by natural or  criminal means.
