I really hope that there is someone out there with information who will come forward and do the right thing. Irregardless of this being gang related, this is a real sick crime committed by someone who's either a sociopath or psychopath who has to be stopped and locked up for life.

Yes Slim that would be nice if someone came forward however, being gang related I doubt someone will. They most likely will be scared for their own life. Let's just hope the police can find the persons responsible for such a horrendous crime. What did that woman ever do to those cold hearted barbaric POS? Every one just take a chill pill and wait and find out how much a life is worth in PG. As fer that poor little 4 yr old kid who was killed in the lower mainland by a driver who only got 2.5 years and is now free on appeal, well, just wait. Two deaths, one by a driver and one by arson. Should be interesting.

And if this isn't already bad enough the residents of PG must worry even more when her son gets out of jail (he's currently being held). He has got to be "steaming" in his jail cell after hearing about his mother’s death.

I have a suspicion that there is going to be retaliatory murders not long after he gets free. I just pray that there are NO innocent victims!

Although the woman did not deserve to be burned, her death is a consequence of association with a gang member. I assume that said association was not her choice, but was due to her daughter's interest in the convict Arrance. Just wait, more innocent people will die or be injured because of these sociopathic misfits that call themselves gangsters.

How quickly people forget that this lady was awaiting trial on weapons charges and such from her arrest with Arrance. I have zero sympathy, even if she was just a bystander. She obviously knew what was going on and by not reporting it she lost the "innocent bystander" part. When a dirtbag gang member goes down no one really gives a chit. If its your son or daughter and you just watch it happen you are just as guilty. Oh but I bet he paid his rent in cash so just turn the other way... oooops

Maybe she lit the fire? The point is: hiring more cops certainly won't help. I recall a gang member being burned in his car a few years ago. I don't recall 'whodunnit' being published. Cops can't do much without witnesses. What's Angela Lansburys' number again?

Being charged with an offense does not mean she was guilty. I don't know either way, but let's be fair here, she and the said weapons were in the same house, but how does that make her liable?
Are we supposed to report to the police everytime we think something may not be right? Would the average 56 year old woman know the difference between a legal or a restricted firearm and an illegal firearm?

Please everyone....this is not her son...it is her daughter who is the one who was with the boyfriend....Linda was a wonderful person because I know. We worked together and I saw a lovely person who worked very hard and had her disabilities but nevertheless she endured. We are all going to miss her so much.

I knew Linda as well, and as for you people who have 'no sympathy for her' I just hope your never wheelchair bound with a kid whos hooked on drugs running your life. Childish posts by childish people.
