Vanderhoof, B.C. - The Ministry of Environment in collaboration with the Northern Health Authority has ended the Air Quality Advisory for Vanderhoof.

The provincial air quality objective for fine particles, PM_2.5, is 25 micrograms per cubic metre, averaged over 24 hours.

The 24 hour PM_2.5 rolling average was 25 µg/m³ at Vanderhoof at 2 p.m. this afternoon.    Even though  the  reading is not below the  objective, it is expected to continue to drop throughout the day.
