The draw was made today at noon in the Elite National Boxing Championships. The B.C. Team had mostly favourable draws. Kenny Lally will box upgraded Quebec Junior Champion Frederic Laquerre on Thursday, the winner will box Ahmed Karatella, last years Silver medallist in the semi on Friday and the Gold medal match will be against the winner of Manitoba's Bradley Quinet and Nigerian immigrant Godfrey Nyora on Saturday. Lally, with success will get 3 matches at the tournament.  Jag Seehra drew 6'1 Steve Wilcox tonight. Wilcox is a 2 time National Silver medallist and 4 time National Bronze medallist. Wilcox won his first National Silver medal in Prince George at the 2005 Cadet Nationals losing the final to Inner City boxer Kenny Lally. Wilcox is a well coached boxer and very good on the computer scoring system. Jag will be in deep, but this is a good match for him. I'm not prepared to call the outcome.
