Prince George, B.C. -  It's another venue to add to your Christmas 'To Do' list...

The Prince George Railway and Forestry Museum's 'Celebration of Lights' begins today and runs until Christmas eve.

The event features a lit up miniature Christmas village with so many intricate details to take in that you could spend hours gazing at it.  In addition, there will be two big bonfires burning in the museum yard where you can purchase a weiner to roast or the supplies to make s'mores and everyone is invited to bring along their skates for use on the ice rink.

The Cottonwood Railway will also be clipping along the track that runs the perimeter of the museum lot -- cost for the train is $2/per person.

And, you certainly can't have a Christmas event without the 'Big Guy' himself, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on-hand until the 23rd -- they're off on the 24th preparing for Santa's big trip later that night.

The Celebration of Lights is open daily from 11am until 8pm and regular admission rates apply:  $5 for adults, $4 for Seniors and youths aged 13-18, $3 for those aged 4-12yrs, and kids 3 and under are free.
