Alexis Creek- An area man is scheduled to appear in court in Williams Lake, Wednesday December 29^th charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle causing death, after the vehicle he was driving, left highway 20 , just west of the Anaham Indian Reserve striking a power pole and then coming to rest against a culvert.

 

The accident occurred Christmas day at 8.30pm, when the vehicle left the highway with four persons in it.

 

The adult male driver was not injured, two others in the vehicle received serious injury and a 15 year old male died at the scene.

 

The crash caused the hydro lines serving the area to come down on to the highway, cutting power to the area for several hours.
