Rescue crews are on the scene of a multi-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 16-West and Domano Boulevard.

RCMP, Fire/Rescue and BC Ambulance arrived at the scene of the accident just before 11am.  At this point, there's no word on any injuries.

A witness says four vehicles were involved, a small fire apparently broke out in one and two were quite severely damaged.

The Insurance Corporation of B.C. has rated the intersection as one of the worst in the city.

No kidding. Who was the brainiac that designed that section of road?

Not only is it tilted on the straight stretch in front of Walmart so trucks on black ice are directed into the west bound lane, but the lanes are so crooked they swerve to the left and then to the right and then to the left to the point that I don't think anyone drives in the designated lanes because no one knows where they are and if they do it changes for no reason other than that is where they laid the pavement down. It has to be the most stupid road construction I've ever seen.
