Prince George RCMP say one person has been transported to hospital following a multi-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 16-West and Domano Boulevard just before 11am this morning.
Police also say the highway has been re-opened in both directions after being closed for a short time to allow clean up of the accident site. Two of the vehicles were apparently heavily damaged and had to be placed on flat-decks for removal.
A witness says the collision involved four vehicles, one of which caught fire.
ICBC considers the intersection to be one of the worst in the city, in terms of crash rates.
