Home Invasion On Victoria St

Prince George- A 23 year old man received serious, but not life threatening injuries, early this morning when two suspects forced their way into a home in the 2100 block of Victoria St.

Police say the pair entered the home at 2.00am this morning armed with a knife.

The 23 year old received injuries during the home invasion.

Another day in the VLA. (violent living area) Any particular reason why this residence was targetted? Could the house have a history?

This house was probably picked because they figured the young man wouldn't call the cops or report it. They probably threatened him. Kudos to him for reporting it because otherwise they'll just keep coming back.

He might drive a nice truck or have a decent job, therefore appear worthwhile putting the squeeze on. Gangs don't "tax" other gang members cause they don't have any money and there would be retaliation. They got to "tax" someone who can pay up and doesn't have "protection".
