No Date Yet in Doug Walls Case

Trial dates for Doug Walls and Mike Millard were supposed to be set today, but  that has been delayed until March.

A requisition was filed on the 9th asking that today's appearance to set trial dates be adjourned to next month.

The two are facing charges of fraud over $5,000.  They are accused of being involved in a cheque kiting scheme that left CIBC in the red for more than a million dollars.

DOug Walls has requested a trial in Provincial Court before Judge alone, while Millard has opted for a trial in Supreme Court before Judge and Jury.
