Here the Cougars go again with the Vancouver Giants.  For the fourth time in the month of January, the Cougars and Giants go toe-to-toe, meeting in Vancouver Friday night with two points separating the two teams in the BC division.

The Cougars go into the match-up with a 22-20-2-1 record for 47 points, two back of the Giants for first in the division and with a game in hand on Vancouver.  The Kelowna Rockets are sandwiched between the teams at 48 points, after defeating the Cougars Wednesday 6-2 in Kelowna.  The Cougars will look to bring an end to their five game road losing streak.  The Cougars and Giants are facing off for the seventh time this season, with one more meeting to go on March 11 at Pacific Coliseum.  The Giants have taken four of the previous six meetings between the two teams, including a 5-2 victory in their last encounter on January 11.  The Cougars, though, have a victory in Vancouver this season, a 3-2 shoot-out decision on November 13.  James Dobrowolski leads the Cougars in scoring against the Giants this season with three goals and eight points in six games.

The Cougars will finish the road trip in Chilliwack Saturday before returning home for a date with the Kamloops Blazers on Wednesday at CN Centre.  Puck drop is 7:00pm and tickets are available by calling Ticketmaster at 250-564-5585.
