Prince George, B.C. - Prince George Mayor Dan Rogers had the opportunity to meeting with Halifax Mayor Peter Kelly today, amid all the hub bub of Day Three of competition at the 2011 Winter Games.

Rogers presented Mayor Kelly with a wooden bowl created by the Prince George Wood Turners' Guild.  The gift was meant to recognize Halifax as the current host city, as Prince George gets set to host the games in 2015.

The bowl was one of a number made out of several trees that had to be removed from the front lawn at City Hall a few years ago over safety concerns.  Since then, the City has handed them out to visiting dignataries and taken them along as gifts to be handed out.
