Don't worry the United States will join Japan and it will become the eigh Horsemen of the Apocalypse, what you ask that well simple The United States government is planning for a New Madrid earthquake national level exercise for this comming May and the last time they had an exercise like this was 9/11 and look what happened there so when you have this going on knowing they know something there not telling you. Science proven that whole new madrid fault zone that has a major earthqauke round every 200 years and its been exactly 200 years this april now this thing goes at 9.0 the gulf of mexico will colapse due to the empty pockets below from drilling oil for years and split the United States from the Gulf right up to the great lakes now it would be far worse than Japan as predicted a possible 10.0 earthquake and a tsunami unamaginable and nuclear well theres 104 nuclear plants in the states 3/4 of them are in the east, finacially well just as devastating as the bodies pile up St.louis will be gone Nashville too so you think Japan is bad think again. On the USGS website theres alot of activity going on in north america with earthquakes especially off the coast or Oregon thjat could be hit with a 9.0 in the near future.
If I remember correctly Plattsburgh was going to be pretty safe, though.
Wow were do you find this stuff.
Canuckfan1974: please cite your sources.

From my searching, the last large New Madrid earthquakes started in December 1811, and all three were in the M7 range.

I have no doubt that North America is due for a large earthquake in the relatively near future.

For those who are interested, check out Natural Resources Canada's website on earthquakes.

Click on the Recent Earthquakes link on the left side, choose your time frame, then choose your area on the map. Amazing to see all the quakes in BC over the past 5 years. Not one right on Prince George! :)
No need to worry Canuckfan1974.Just tell everyone you know to move to Prince George as they will be safe in the city where nothing happens!
---- happens!

Hey canuk, aren`t you the bum on the corner of 3rd & George with the sign "apocolypse now"
Something that may be of interest.

***The biggest quake in BC's recorded history, 8.1 on the Richter scale, occurred off the Queen Charlotte Islands. Its major force was felt to the uninhabited West of the Queen Charlotte Islands and damage was minimal. *While hardly anyone in Vancouver felt the tremors, reports of the quake poured in from throughout BC....Prince George residents ran into the streets shouting **earthquake, earthquake* as cafe signs swung and poles swayed. Centres 1,500 miles (2400km) apart felt the quake, and it was even detected in Jasper, Alberta, Seattle measured it at 7.2.

I personally remember this quake. I was outside my house at the time and everything was shaking.

So things do happen in Prince George.
PS:: The quake happened on August 21, 1949
okay thank u for all of the stuff u have said but quite franky i think it is rubbish, firstly because if u look at the myan calender in 3d there are chip that arent due to erosion so that means pieces were broken off, secondly the horsemen arent called that so read the bible an thirdly get a grip
