Prince George, B.C. - Alarms were ringing at the University Hospital of Northern B.C. this morning, as the first floor, off the main parking lot,  flooded with water.

Crews were quick to arrive with wet vacs to clean up the mess.

UHNBC  says for some, at this point, unknown reason, the sprinkler heads in the main lobby  were activated, which also  triggered the fire alarms.  There has been no indication at this point of there being any fire.

UHNBC  crews continue the clean up.

Furhter details will be  forthcoming later in the day.

Stay calm
Spring showers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nice!
I suspect that there was group of mid level NHA bureaucrats gathering in the lobby for a planning session. The conversation must have become somewhat heated, and an accidental release of hot air (the byproduct of mid level bureaucratic machination) enveloped an unfortunate sprinkler head, like a greasy cloud of gas from half digested Chinese food. The sprinkler head, in a moment of panic, erroneously concluded that a cloud of greasy fumes heralded imminent immolation (where theres smoke there must be fire) and popped into action, showering the group with clean, pure water, which flowed from their off the rack Sears suits like water off a Harlequin duck's back. Nary a droplet of the the inundation marred their shiny patent leather footwear. They were golden.

Metalman, let me ask you ? Do you release the same "level of hot air" when you think of these things? You must have alot of time ...hmmm.
That was good, Metalman. lol
Soli says: Metalman, let me ask you ? Do you release the same "level of hot air" when you think of these things? You must have alot of time ...hmmm.

No, once in a while I have some creative thoughts, and need to express them.
It has been this way ever since I kissed the Blarney Stone. Can't be helped.
There is no cure for this you know, if you are a person of Irish extraction.
Have I touched a nerve, Soli?
Faith and Begorrah, I sincerely hope that you are not offended.
Yours in good humour,
metalman.
Spooky. Is the place haunted?
this makes news?
Metalman, metalman,
Speaks the truth we are all thinking
Sometimes in rhyme, sometimes in prose
But most dare not speaking
He often gets out of joint someone's nose

If someone does not get offended, the truth has not been expressed.
Truer words were never spake, Loki.
