Prince George, B.C.- A young man accused of being tied to the Game Tight Soldiers and the Renegades in Prince George, and who is facing deportation, has been arrested again by RCMP.
Francois Meerholz was arrested last Friday morning when RCMP investigated a complaint about a possible theft in progress, in the parking lot of a Central East motel.
At the time of the arrest Police allege Meerholz was in possession of break-in tools.
Meerholz is facing deportation and had been released in the custody of his brother Dillon in January as the deportation process continued. ( see previous story)
At a special hearing held Tuesday, the Canada Border Services Agency requested that in the wake of the latest allegations, Meerholz remain in custody until his deportation.
Meerholz requested the matter be put over for one week, and was granted that extension. In the meantime, he remains in custody.
23 year old Meerholz came to Prince George from South Africa when he was just eleven. He was initially ordered deported in November of 2007 after being convicted of criminal charges. He is also facing seven firearms charges which have yet to come before the courts.
