Prince George, B.C. - The main building at CNC’s Prince George campus will be closed Sunday, March 27, because of a construction-related power shutdown.

The planned outage will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., while construction crews connect the new Technical Education Centre to its own power grid.

“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause,” said Randall Heidt, CNC’s director of communications and development.

CNC’s computers, e-mail and phones will be out of service from 8 p.m. Saturday March 26 to 3 p.m. Sunday.  “This means students and employees will not be able to check their CNC e-mail accounts or CNC Connect from home.”
There will be no power to the student residence from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. Sunday. The power to the Brink Trades and Technology Centre, Nicholson building and regional campuses will not be affected. However, there will be no phone or computer service to any of these buildings during the outage.

“The times are estimates only,” Heidt said.
