Candidates on the Hot Seat Tonight

Prince George, B.C.- Tonight, candidates vying for the right to represent you in Ottawa, will be in the hot seat during an all candidates debate.
The event will start at 5:00 at the College of New Caledonia lecture theatre ( room 1-306) and will run straight through to about 9:30 tonight.
Organized by the Prince George Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Immigrant and Multicultural Services Society, the Prince George Construction Association and the Northern Real Estate Board, the event will be split into two distinct sessions.
The debate will focus on the six candidates for the Cariboo-Prince George riding from 5:00 to about 7:15. There will be a short break, then, at 7:30, the candidates for the Prince George Peace River riding will be put through their paces.
There will be an opportunity for the public to pose questions to the candidates.
All of the candidates from the two ridings have confirmed they are taking part in this event. Those candidates are (in alphabetical order):
Cariboo- Prince George: (5:00 to 7:15)
- Dick Harris – Conservative
- Sangreeta Lali – Liberal
- Heidi Redl – Green Party
- Jon Ronan – Independent
- Harry Thiessen – Christian Heritage Party
- Jon Van Barneveld- NDP
Prince George – Peace River: (7:30 - 9:30)
- Lois Boone – NDP
- Hilary Crowley – Green Party
- Ben Levine – Liberal
- Bob Zimmer – Conservative
