School District 57 Gets Dollars to Clear Hazardous Materials

WIthin a week of making the request, the Education Ministry has responded with approval for School District 57 to go ahead and borrow up to $2 million dollars to remove hazardous materials from KGV, Duchess Park, and the old administration building.
Vice Chair Lois Boone wanted to issue a public thank you to MInister Shirley Bond "I don't think I have ever seen a response in such a fast manner " said Boone.
The Board agreed to send a letter of thanks to Minister Bond for her rapid attention and response to the matter.
