All-Roads RV on First Avenue tries for re-zoning
All-Roads RV has another shot at getting their property re-zoned.
The company was back before Council tonight asking for the opportunity to go before a public hearing. This is the second time the company has tried to make a change so it would be legally conforming.
Councilor Don Zurowski says he supports sending the item to a public hearing as this business is an existing business and it is not inconsistent with the OCP.
All-Roads has been operating their business at this site since April of 2004.
City Staff encouraged Council to reject the application last time, and reccommended Council do the same this time 'round saying the site is too small for All-Roads to carry on this kind of business. Staff noted there have been disruptions to traffic as units have to be backed out on to the roadway in order to shift product from one part of the site to another. Staff also pointed out , All Roads is already using some other lots in the area to house inventory.
Council has agreed to have the matter come up for a public hearing.
