Man Hit with Axe Faces Charges

A 46 year old man faces charges after a 23 year old sex trade worker was unlawfully confined and assaulted.

Police say the man had to undergo medical treatment at PGRH after being hit on the head with an axe.

He has since been released from hospital, and was to appear before a Justice of the Peace today to be formally charged.
