Mayor Proclaims Hockey Days!

In an effort to get an inside edge on the competition to be named "Hockeyville" and all the goodies that go with it, Mayor Colin Kinsley has declared all Fridays from now till June 30th as "Hockey Days" .
You are hereby encouraged to wear your hockey jersey to work or to play to send the message that Prince George is Hockeyville Canada.!
The competition will result in some city $10,000 in hockey gear from CCM for youth, $50,000 to upgrade a hockey rink, and a chance to have an NHL game played in yher City.
More than 400 cities/towns are in the running, and Prince George has made the top 50.
