We're Back and We're Sorry

Right off the bat, please accept my apology for leaving you in the lurch over the past few days on Opinion 250.

We were switching Web masters, it has been a challenge.

As a result of the switch, in the next few weeks you will see some major changes in what we deliver you every day as we connect with our new Web provider Mag-Net.

Coming soon, your horoscope every day, a cross word puzzle, the ability to see just what is happening to your flight in and out of Prince George. Now I should also mention we will soon begin a program that will allow you follow your loved ones as they fly across Canada or the US. Plug in the flight number and then watch the plane fly along on its way to the destination, complete with weather.

Speaking of weather, it is only a matter of a few weeks before we will introduce on this site the complete satellite weather. How about some web cam activities? Not only the web cams of PG but also the web cams located at Ft. St. John, Smithers, and the Coquihalla summit.

Coming also, a ticker tape of the stock prices.

Now on the other side of the coin;

No, we were not in dispute with ABC Communications. I have a great deal of respect for Bob Allan of ABC, he is a gentleman. With respect to the comments of, “Rumor of Demise” you may not be surprised to see that Shawn Petriw has surfaced once again. His comments about our internet paper were, in my mind, over the edge and were actionable, but what more could you expect from a person who we have had to give the boot from the site on a few previous instances? He suggests that we have fudged the number of people that read this site, arguing that by hitting the refresh button you can add another hit.

Obviously he has difficulty in reading, because I mentioned on our posting when we hit over 3 million viewers that we would not allow (as some papers in this city do) to simply hit the refresh button and obtain another reader. If it necessary for people such as Petriw to do that in order to obtain an audience so be it , that will not happen at Opinion 250.
It is rather amusing that in order to get his message out; he came to the internet site where he knows he will get the most exposure, Opinion 250 News.

That in itself speaks volumes.

Again, I apologize for the lag in information and accessibility. It is a growing pain which we believe will lead to a better site that will give you more of the information you want

HOORAY YOU ARE BACK!!!
WE MISSED YOU!!!!
Man...it's like when your dog doesn't come home. You're pretty sure he will come home, but you can't be absolutely sure!! Welcome back!
Welcome back I missed the news in the straight up way only you give us.
Sure glad to have the site back online.

I hope that is the closest i ever get to knowing what a junkie feels like when going through withdrawal !
Good to see the news articles back again. Sounds like there is further growth for "one-stop-shopping" coming up.
Hi I would like to say welcome back also, I really missed you for that few days. I really like your sight as it has local content. The rest of the news sights have B.C. or Canada, Or the rest of the world. They all forget that there is anyplace North of Kamloops. Carry on with you great job. Busdriver54
SCIENTIFIC STUDY

A South American scientist from Argentina, after a lengthy
study, has discovered that people with very low intellect read
their e-mails with their hand on the mouse.

Don't bother taking it off now, it's too late!

Welcome back, Ben!
I think the original study outcome by the Scientist made more sense. I won't post it here. But if anyone is interested, just google it.

;-)
Busdriver54. Kamloops is in the same boat as PG. The saying goes no hope beyound Hope. KAmloops is still in the 250 area code.
