Remains found in the front yard of a College Heights home have been identified as those of a moose.

Prince George RCMP were called to the Loyola Drive  home last evening when the remains were discovered as the  home owners repard to do some renovations.  The property was secured in the event the remains were human and there would need to be a search for possible evidence.

The Serious Crime Unit says the remains are those of a moose and the investigation is closed.

WHAT ? ? No investigation in to the cause of poor Bullwinkles demise?? Maybe someone had a grouse with him?? Does no one suspect fowl play??? Surely we can afford an investigation, what with all the money the city is saving on garbage collec......Ahhh nevermind. R.I.P. Dear Bullwinkle
I thought it was illegal to bury animals on one's property. If not, this would be a good reason why it should be illegal.

How much time was taken up by the police for this exercise when they could have been doing some more useful work?
Not fowl play, moose play!

I don't bury the left overs, I just leave it to rot. No mystry that way cause everyone can smell it and I'm not hiding (sic) anything.

Owl, what do the muddy people you spoke of on an earlier post do with their left overs?
The BBQ is on Sunday.
